SOME COMMON METHODS OF PRODUCING OZONE

1. ULTRAVIOLET  LAMPS (UV)
Light is measured on a scale called an electromagnetic spectrum and its increments are referred to as nanometers.  Figure 1 represents an electromagnetic scale; note the location of higher-frequency ultraviolet light relative to visible light (the range of light perceptible by the human eye).

The UV Ozone Generation Method utilizes a Special Silica-Quartz Glass Ultra-Violet Lamp, that emits a Narrow Band of Frequencies with a Peak Frequency of 185 nanometers (In fact, ozone is actually destroyed by ultraviolet light at 185 nm avelength and destroyed at section 254 nm up) resulting in very low Concentration (1-3 ug/ml) of Medical-Grade Ozone being produced, if Oxygen is used as the Input Gas and very low Amounts of Nitrogen Oxide Compounds (less than 0.1%) being produced, if Air is used as the Input Gas.

2. HOT SPARK (Thunder Discharge) with very high voltage DC (7-30 KV) shocking. This way very simple very chip but not safe and there are very high amounts of Nitrogen Oxide Compounds (more than 1% - caled dirty ozone ) being produced, if Air is used as the Input Gas.

3. CORONA DISCHARGE  (CD) - Figure 2 - can be divided into three types - low frequency (50 to 100 Hz), medium frequency (100 to 1,000 Hz), and high frequency (1,000 + Hz).  Since 85% to 95% of the electrical energy supplied to a corona discharge ozone generator produces heat, some method for heat removal is required.  Also, proper cooling significantly affects the energy efficiency of the ozone generator, so most corona discharge systems utilize one or more of the following cooling methods: Air, water with oil or freon, or water.  Regardless of the CD technology you may select, be sure some type of cooling system is included.

At the heart of a corona discharge ozone system is the dielectric. The electrical charge is diffused over this dielectric surface, creating an electrical field, or “corona”.  Many different materials in a variety of configurations are used for the dielectric, including everything from silicone rubber (one design actually used radiator hose) to scientific-grade glass.

The Cold-Corona Ozone Generation Method utilizes a Tube with a Hot Cathode, that is surrounded by a Screen Anode. The best ones are called Dual-Dielectric, because they have a layer of Glass, separating each component from the Oxygen Stream, preventing contamination of the Ozone. The Special Dual-Dielectric Electrodes produce a Low Temperature, resulting in very high Concentrations (up to 120 ug/ml) of Medical-Grade Ozone being produced, if Oxygen is used as the Input Gas and Low Amounts of Nitrogen Oxide Compounds (less than 1%) being produced, if Air is used as the Input Gas. And if an Air Dryer is used, then there are very low Amounts of Nitrogen Oxide Compounds (less than 0.1%).

 

4.  COLD-PLASMA Ozone Generation (The original cold plasma ozone generators were invented by Nikola Tesla in the 1920s ) Method utilizes an Anode (+) and Cathode (-) enclosed in Glass, which is filled with a Noble Gas. The High Voltage jumps between the Glass Rods, forming an Electrostatic Plasma Field, which produces a very low Temperature, plus high Reliability, resulting in high Concentrations (up to 70 ug /ml) of medical-grade Ozone being produced, if Oxygen is used as the Input Gas and zero Nitrogen Oxide Compounds, when Air is used as the Input Gas.

 

5.  A-OZONE Generation – Figure 3 - Methode utilizes on the surface of the high purity alumina Ceramic Dielectric as Intemediary Electrode ( Patented by NgocBan Nguyen  in the 2003s ) . The high Frequence of the medium Voltage pulses forming Eliminator Fields with both of Corona Discharge and Cold Plasma (Pulsed Corona Plasma), which produces low Temperature, plus high Reliability, resulting in very high Concentrations (up to 200 ug/ml) of medical-grade Ozone being produced, plus even higher molecules of Oxygen (O4, O5, O6, O7, O8 …Ox) and stronger of oxydation than Ozone (O3) being produced if Oxygen is used as the Input Gas and zero Nitrogen Oxide Compounds, when Air is used as the Input Gas.

Figure 4 – A-Ozone (B-style) - Methode utilizes on surface of the Balls (Magne oxyde  porous Ceramic) as special intemediary Electrodes.The high Frequence of the medium Voltage pulses forming cold Plasma Fields, which produces clean ozone (zero Nox ) in high Concentrations, when dry Air is used as the Input Gas.
